Paging through BOYS' LIFE, Part 3: Robert A. Heinlein's Scouts into Space

Robert Heinlein's contributions appeared in Boys' Life long before my own time as a Scout, so I know them from books. But once again, it's interesting to see the original illustrations. Reynold Brown did good interior illos for Satellite Scout in 1950, but the cover painting of the first installment is a torchship by none other than Chesley ( Read more... )

I don't think there's an equivalent market today, or I'd have been serializing GCA in it.

Is Time for the Stars the title that cover makes me think of? The one about the twins being used for starship communication.

Yes, the same design of ship was used in that, and in Starman Jones.
