One of my roommates let my cat out. He's been gone for two days now. Yes, maybe he's just found a place to curl up and try to stay warm in this rare winter storm we're having. I'll admit that's a possibility ( Read more... )

I'll keep my fingers crossed for Hermes! One of my cats got lost one time, and after several days and me printing flyers and everything, she came home, and one of my neighbors visited to say that she had discovered it locked up in their garage after they'd been away for the week-end. The strangest things happen with cats. I hope something similar is going on with yours.

Other than that, it does sound like your place is not too much fun... even if it's cheap. I hope you find a place that suits you.

I'm so sorry. I'm also loathe to give advice, but this might not be the best living situation for you. Also, my cat returned after SIX FREAKING WEEKS on walkabout, or whatever. They're smarter than we can fathom.
