"Ah, Stella-- Do you have a minute?" Adam rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, shifting on his feet. He'd caught her in the locker room before she left for the night, and after hearing about her giving up Buenos Aires for him, he wanted to thank her.

"Of course, Adam. What can I do for you?" Stella would never tell him this, but he was by far her favorite of the lab techs. His enthusiasm and dedication were an inspiration to everyone in the lab. She was grateful that they weren't going to lose him.

"I, ah. Well, I heard about-- and uh, your vacation. I uh. Just wanted to--" He was turning red at this point and eventually just decided to give it a shot. Moving in close, he placed a hand on Stella's cheek and gave her a soft, sweet kiss.

This was frustrating. No. No. This was beyond frustrating. Mac had asked him and Lindsay to isolate what a mysterious blue substance was that had been found at their crime scene and without using GCMS. He was about to rip his hair out when he heard Lindsay yell.

"I got it!" She jumped from her chair and threw her arms in the air victoriously and Adam nearly tripped over himself getting to Lindsay and checking out the results.

"You did it!"

"Well, I had a little help." She smirked Adam's way and grinned.

Adam was beyond words at this moment. This stupid foreign substance had been the bane of his existence for ten hours and now it was over. Adam turned to Lindsay and leaned in to kiss her happily. "You rock, Lindsay."
