Last evening was the first meeting of my second "Opera lirica in italiano" class.  The first opera we're looking at this time around is Giacomo Puccini's "La Bohème".  I'm very excited about this!

Well, some people (mostly self-possessed Bostonians) do think of Boston as the "Paris of the New World". My little 3rd floor flat sometimes feels like a garret. Or, maybe a garrote! Paris, TX ...now, that's just scary.
