AAAARGH JURY DUTY MONDAY. I have no car, no money to buy gas even if I had one, and am a 130-pound white girl who does NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE riding Milwaukee buses alone. I was chosen from a pool of reserve jurors b/c my last name starts w/ one of the letters L-Z. THIS IS THE WORST SYSTEM EVER.

what you got on mke buses? you can play pat sajak's funtime word games. (they really aren't scary at all)

and jurors get in free to the museum.

I got tapped for jury duty too but not until June 2 and 3. Jeez, that was short notice for you! Did you just find out about it?

It might be possible to get out of it if it's a considerable hardship to get there.

I don't know if the system is the same everywhere, but I am supposed to call the evening of June 1 to see if I even need to report. I hope you can find some way around it.
