Rodney has no idea how "foot-warmer" became part of his duties. But it's better than having to listen to the pitiful sighing.

Because after the sighing, comes the stomp to the sock drawer and John feels completely ridiculous sleeping in just socks and so he gets dressed and then he pouts and is no longer naked, which, to Rodney's mind is VERY BAD.

And then sometimes he just looks at Rodney with the most outragously obvious pout ever and Rodney goes, "All right FINE, you heat-leech," and then John snuggles up to him and nuzzles at him until Rodney just gives up all together and wraps him up snug and warm and close. And then HE sighs pitifully, but he has an armful of pliant, nuzzley Sheppard and really, it's not that bad.
