My oh my. This summer is over! I have no clue where it went, but it's official. It's gone. Yesterday was the bookfair. That always serves as a wake-up call that summer has ended and summer reading needs to be finished pronto. I had started all the king's men, and after 100 pages, i put it down and picked up Beloved. It's weird...but much better. I'

And I second Jake's perspective. I see that perspective and I raise it you had Elmeer your sophomore year. We were doubly screwed after un-learning english from our second year. I believe Elmeer and Dakin had some sort of an establish confidence - take it away, harden the student - establish love of english pattern from year 2 to 3 to 4. However, we had learn pure hate and not learn english - take away confidence that's already that much lower, harden the student - learn to love english despite sophomore year's calloused effect. It was a tough job.
