oh my god i wrote a tutorial.
Basically I decided to write a tutorial because there have been a few people asking me about how I get specific colouring on my icons. To be honest, I feel so honoured that those of you that ask want to know this stuff because it makes me feel special about the icons that I make. So below is a short tutorial (there are others similar around that I have seen, but you know, i want to join in too and make my own). I have made this icon using Photoshop Elements 4.0 thus there is a possibility that some stuff that I do will be slightly different with the versions you are using.
