Huh. I've never had a story where I realized that the character I was writing about wasn't the center. The closest I've come is taking a story about one character and dividing it between two so that their story lines intertwined. But I'm glad you figured out how to get Holland in the spot light! :D

Out of curiosity, how good is dreamwidth? Is it any better than Livejournal?

it is sort of really crazy, in a completely BULLSHIT sort of way.

:D I've wanted her to be the main part of the story, but I hadn't been able to figure out what she was DOING besides hanging around in New Orleans. so yay! I love Holland.

Dreamwidth! I like it - it's kind of weird having two reading lists, but I do like several of DW's features more than LJ's, and I like their accessibility policy loads more than LJ's, and some of the things they're working on pretty much sound AWESOME. I'm not going to fully abandon LJ for it anytime soon, because LJ has loads of stuff and people I love as well, but I do like having a DW as well. Plus I've gotten new friends over there, which is always fun. :D
