I would love to draw a chart of the spread of SPN! It sounds huge! Even after You-Lass-Me, I sorta spread it to three, maybe four of my rl friends (I don't think they're watching on their own now but they were always eager to see more and said something about picking it up again next year), plus then I connected with SPN fannish people irl whatthatneverhappens! IT IS CRAZY. I now have like 10 people in rl who suddenly I can talk SPN to! This has NEVER HAPPENED before with me and fandom! even Merlin! and it's crazy because even after 5 seasons people are just getting into it.
I also am excited about S6 homg. I kinda don't want to think about it too much because that is bound to lead to frustrated expectations but STILL. mostly I want more sam and dean <333 how do you feel about that anime series japan is making??
it just keeps GOING and GOING! apparently SPN is that thing that'll take over the world? one of my friends at church's older brother watches it, apparently. (my reaction: YOUR BROTHER WATCHES SPN WAIT SERIOUSLY? you mean that? *CRACKS UP*) I'm fond of how Lass described it that one time - it's that show that asks you to hang out at a party, and you know it's probably a bad idea because it's got this reputation for being crazy and sometimes a little bit dumb but you're kind of bored and Merlin (or other show) just left you and so you do hang out with it and next thing you know you're smoking mythology arc pot with it and drinking questionably erotic codependent family bonds beer in a corner and you're HOOKED. (extremely paraphrased) and it does seem to be a really social fandom! which is cool. :D

Take over the world? Yeah, I'd believe it. I remember hearing about Misha Collins's twitter wars or whatever, something about getting Luciferrising to the top of tweeting topics or something. I have seen spoilers! I'm all over ontd_spnparty, which I'm guessing is a good source because it seems to have a lot. Yeah, I'm going WHOA WHAT over some of these casting things - basically I'm relieved to see our good old favorite characters back, sam and dean and cas and bobby, but some of those beyond that I DUNNO ACK. I can't get too worried though. because it will always be about sam and dean <333

So, I don't think I have this completely straight yet, but I do so want to watch Who! I've said this before, but I've only ever seen Midnight and an ad for the newest season (with Eleven). YEEK. SO BEHIND IN FANDOMY THINGS.
