I'm actually doing pretty well, you guys. Thursday... okay, Thursday sucked, but I recovered really rapidly (in large part due to you guys and your awesomeness). I don't think I've ever sprung back quite so fast from my dad and his rants, which is a promising sign for my own mental health. And I've been doing better with the socializing thing! Check out halfamoon under the .vid tag! there are lots of rec lists for vids, and there are several multifandom ones. I like One Girl Revolution by arefadedaway (different song and vid than the Star Trek One Girl Revolution vid that I love to pieces).

Glorious by such_heights is pretty too, though I don't like the music itself as much. there's several others over at halfamoon in rec posts and such, but they're not that hard to find and some of them have material you might not like.

... revelation study. Sounds like a barrel of laughs! (Actually, the semester we did revelations in bible study WAS a barrel of laughs. Nearly as good as the semester we did "controversial bits and weird bits of the bible no one talks about" and learnt about women bashing men's head in with tent pegs, and herds of wild pigs, and 101 Ways To Tie Yourself In A Knot Trying To Prove St Paul Didn't Hate Teh Gays, and so on.)

Yay for social life and developing resilience :).

it's definitely interesting! and oh, I know all about those controversial bits of the Bible. grew up reading it! those were always the parts I liked best, right next to Revelation, which I, uh, may have read for fun. multiple times. I was a strange child, okay? still am, actually. though it is not a barrel of laughs because everyone in the room is taking it seriously and I totally have ulterior reasons to be there.
