(I really, really wish I knew The Dark Is Rising well enough to answer the Simon/Susan prompt. :( but I have not yet finished the series - I have two books left, and I haven't been able to get to the library to get them. I might have to just place them on hold and hope my dad doesn't decide that they're bad.)

omg you are reading The Dark is Rising? YAY. The last two books are the BEST omfg. good luck on getting them from the library! they are kids books, I always counted them on the Wholesome end of good vs evil, verging on the sort of books like Narnia -reverent and almost religious in tone but dealing with Arthur rather than Christ.
It is so sad how they fight! because they're still siblings, and they want the same thing: their daddy's love and approval. but azula makes it a competition and zuko has to fight her and they are driven to sad sad fighting! I totally want to write firebrats fic, oh man.

I have been for a while, actually! I have read Over Sea, Under Stone, The Dark Is Rising, Greenwitch, and now I just need to read The Grey King and Silver On The Tree, which I am really looking forward to. I kind of love everyone in the books, and the mythos, and the way they fight, and the entire feeling of them - it's fabulous. yeahhh, see, I know they're fine, and pretty much good, but my dad has a tendency to be Unreasonable. he practically has it patented. ;P

exactly! I can't feel annoyed at almost anything, because it is all so sweet and well-intentioned, and the characters are lovely, and the stories are kind of adorable. it's loads of fun.
omg TOM/GINNY. it is a slightly ridiculously awesome ship. haha, I know what you mean - she does have the ability to not be much fun, but at the same time her potential is awesome.
These were all so great, and I was surprised that I knew so many of the fandoms - surprised, but pleased of course! The Narnia one with Jill and Peter and Edmund made me think of Peter in a way I hadn't before, and smile at Edmund. Oh, Edmund. <3
And any Merlin/Narnia crossover is absolute win. :DD
awww, thanks! I've been having fantastic fun - so many prompts to choose from! there's almost always something I can dash something off for. I'm always happy to get more people involved in it. it is the perfect way to relax but still write.
