I will feel better when the stats stop telling me I'll finish on Dec. 15th. Which they won't stop telling me until it's not true anymore. Which means I have to write... two thousand something words? Which I won't accomplish tonight. But if I make word count tonight, I'll only have like - 2500 words to write tomorrow!

My stats are telling me at the rate I'm writing, I'll be finished on February 9th. -_- College has been getting in the way. I'd love to be using this weekend to catch up, but I need to finish writing two papers and studying for a midterm. I'm not sure how much I'll be able to work on it during this week either. *sigh* Maybe next weekend I'll be able to just go at it and catch up a lot. But at this point I'm about 6,000 words behind. This isn't good. :(

We'll have to have a catch up marathon together at some point. With weird challenges, and stuff like that. I DON'T KNOW.

*weeps* I'm not that far ahead of you, I'm like four thousand words behind oh god.

I'm now a little less than eight thousand words behind. THIS IS NOT GOING WELL. D8

On the plus side, I've finished the two major papers I've had, and my midterm is my first class in the morning. I've got a couple of hours between classes. Maybe I should just settle myself down in the library tomorrow and write like my life depends on it between classes.

(It would probably also help if I didn't rush everything. There are necessary parts that are "boring" but if I didn't rush them to get to the "good" stuff, it would help my word count--and the story. Why do I do this? D:)

Well, on the plus side, you're not that far behind, right? At this point, I think you're only about two thousand words behind which isn't bad. At least, it's not anywhere near as bad as my situation is, right? So that's something.

Currently, I shall finish Dec 10, which isn't actually all that bad considering I barely wrote yesterday and I haven't written at all today. Midterm, bah. BUT I plan to catch up and hopefully get ahead over the Remembrance Day long weekend (four days off and no work, woo!) so I guess I shall see? It's been going better than I expected - but then, I expected to be writing a 10K novel and then working on other stuff, and instead everyone is being incredibly descriptive and thinky and I've barely gotten into the plot at all in the first 9700. So. We shall see how that goes.
