Your WIPs sound so exciting :D I never got into Inception fandom, but I can see how the movie would make writing fic really exciting. I am intrigued about your alwaysagirl!Arthur and eager to be convinced as to why she is way more interesting than that handsome-but-stiff guy in the movie ;))

ALSO I need SPN/Narnia stuck-in-a-cabin croatpocalypse crossover like I need delicious food. dude it sounds awesome :DDD

I read a bunch of fics one day in Inception, and concluded two things: there were Not Enough Ladies. and there were Seriously Not Enough Ladies YOU GUYS. and then I wondered about Arthur, and what about him would change if he was a woman. Military background, which would suck if he was a lady. Also I cannot imagine dreaming is a profession that's easy on women - can you imagine what sex traffickers would use that technology for? UGH. So Alexandra is paranoid and has personal space issues but is also terribly put together and very very private, and Eames thinks of her as a puzzle to crack and she thinks of him as someone she would sometimes very much like to shoot because he won't stop TOUCHING HER. it's really quite fun to mess about with.

ahahaha, I think I have been promising this story nearly a YEAR now. but I just never find the time to write, or I find the papers the rest of it is on and then lose them again, or I just don't remember. ONE DAY.

Very well-thought out responses! I'm sure I'd have more to say if I were at all familiar with the characters I'd picked. (I...don't watch that much television! If I did that meme, it would be all Doctor Who characters and various literary heroines! Which...would be fun, now that I think of it...)

Crossovers are kind of my Thing - I love figuring out how they work and how everyone is AWESOME ALL THE TIME, OMG. So you have a point of reference: Jesse Flores is a Terminator-fighting resistance captain from the future. Jenny Lewis was the media liaison for a team that tracked down and closed tears in time and space (and took care of the creatures coming through). Susan Pevensie is, well, Susan Pevensie, badass fighting queen of diplomacy and practicality. Keladry of Mindelan is Tamora Pierce and therefore amazing, and Anna Milton is an angel who tore out her grace to become human and then was forced to become an angel again. She and Susan are one of my crossover OTP's. :D

also, I would totally love if it you did this meme with Doctor Who ladies and literary heroines. A+++

Yeah! I totally wouldn't have thought of her at first because in Glee she - doesn't really seem like a Peter? But someone posted a picture of her in '50's stuff and I went "... OMG, okay, I can see it." man, it was actually really easy to cast Edmund and Peter as girls, but casting Lucy and Susan as guys? LIKE TEARING OUT PART OF MY SOUL, I swear. I was really happy with Bradley though, which helped ease the pain. :P And then someone linked me to a picture of Tom Sturridge with that FACE and that utterly Susan look and the HAT and I sort of melted. :P
