Slughorn is a dick! He has no right to judge Draco, considering that it was his fault that voldemort was so hard to kill in the first place, and besides he was always a coward that never really fought against him properly and he was an adult unlike Draco... I guess he is projecting his guilt on the poor pretty ferret ¬¬ Besides that, I love how their relationship is progressing!Harry is getting more and more impatient and i think the other two as well.. Anyway, loving it dear! I read suuuper slowly! Like when you are on a diet and you get a chocolate and just nible on it :P
i wanted so much to just reach into this chapter and smack slughorn in the face for being an ass.
i really can understand the hesitation and over thinking on draco's part. he does feel the connection, especially the pull but like he repeats to himself every time, it is too soon. he needs to know more, study more, research more. but their friendship and connection is progressing by leaps and bounds and that is what's most important right now.
harry's confession about wanting to be called 'baby'... i can't really use words to describe what i felt when he revealed the reason. being orphaned as a baby and growing up with an aunt and uncle who had abused and probably violated him must've been hell. i can understand, if only a little, his need to belong somewhere, to belong with someone... it's not easy, being treated as an outcast by the very people you trust or considered family (in my case it was my 'friends') and now that he has that with ron and hermione (and soon with draco) his insecurities and fears rear up and being called 'baby'

Yep, Draco is just going to have to study and research. People often forget (or don't know because it wasn't in the films) that Draco was only 2nd to Hermione in marks. He's super smart. Not just a pretty face. And I love him.

Harry is so whiny and imptient, he's starting to piss me off (much like book 5) ... but it's always fun to ... um, let Ron shag him senseless ;)
This next chapter is longer than the previous one! Lots to nibble!
