A few years ago i worked with someone who told me a story of a patient of hers who had given birth to twin girls. She named them Latoya and..... Notlatoya. I kid you not. Up until this very evening i thought that was the worst name-crime against a child i'd ever heard

My mother-in-law works testing kids for learning disabilities and she apparently tested a kid a few years back whose name was Ekswyze -- pronounced X-Y-Z. So lovely. One of my friends met a girl in college whose name was Xyquinette. And somewhere I heard tell of children named Lemonjello and Orangejello. People really are strange sometimes. Those poor children.
