I have an idea and, like, a whole paragraph. /o\ But no panicking yet, the sky will fall down if I ever get an assignment down ahead of time, so this is very much within schedule. XD

LOL So makes sense. Love your icon, though I went with a slightly different angle. :grins:

I have two ideas fully fleshed out that fit the prompts and that I'm sure my giftee will enjoy. I still have a hard time writing, even though I have wonderful cheerleaders and writing buddies. Both ideas are longish and I have to have the fic beta'd and and and... Heeeelp?

Who's worried? I'm not worried. It actually sounds like you're in fine shape. It's all good. :)

Hello! After a mild panic in which RL was sucking all the life out of my attempts at fic, I have about 1900 words that are hopefully good words, but don't actually make up a first draft yet. :)

Congrats! A good start can make all the difference.

Thanks! I loved my prompts but it took a while to actually figure what I wanted to write, so getting past the start has made it a lot easier.

Was super excited after getting my assignment because I pretty much knew what I wanted to write about right away...and now I'm 600 words in and stuck, and have been for the past week, which is frustrating because I KNOW WHAT I WANT TO WRITE. ARGH. (HOWEVER, thanks to a helpful little hand I am now unstuck, I think, or at least have brainstormed enough to push further!) Last year I think I freaked out and then wrote a lot at once after struggling, so I'm hoping that turns out the same way.

And then of course will come the second guessing. ;)

Hang in there. Just put one word in front of the other and trust the process. I'm sure it'll be amazing.

I'm sure it'll all work itself out -- especially since you know what you want to write :)
