*whimpers* Man this was such a great progression and then gah the last one just hit me straight in the gut with all the sadfeels ever. So beautifully written though!!!!!

Thank you! I was thinking about how, as adults, so much of our Christmasy feelings are tied to our memories of Christmases as kids, and that neither of them would really have the 'normal' associations (Christmas in the circus? I can't even imagine). And I think the first Christmas after the events of the movie would have been very bittersweet, no matter what :|

Oh, I really liked this! It was great watching through Natasha's perspective, and how her friendship with Clint and relationship with SHIELD (tht comment about forgetting how broad their resources are -! Welcome to super hero canon, Natasha, haha) changed over the five bits. And Coulson!

Oh this is wonderful. I love 5 times fics and you really captured the snapshot-of-life thing. You got their voices. Each progressive snippet shows their evolving relationship and it's all behind the scenes. The development is clearly there. It's all so natural.
