Fic: Whatever It Takes (PG-13, warning for language/hospital situations)lar_laughsFebruary 21 2013, 20:52:43 UTC
This poem has been running around in my head since I read it here. One of the "definitions" of Calvary is redemption and Clint/Natasha is very much about redemption. This is what I came up with.
Title: Whatever It Takes Rating: PG-13 (Teen and Up) Warnings: some language, hospital situations Author's Note: This is set pre-movie and is another of my attempts to explain Love is for ChildrenWashing the shampoo out of her hair didn’t take as long as she thought it would. Natasha watched the last bit of suds swirl down the drain before she turned off the water. Even then she didn’t turn to leave the stall. Instead, she leaned her forehead against the cool tile

Thank you! I think the reading thing has been a favorite of everyone that has commented and I'm pretty sure it's a head canon I picked up here at the com!
I'm going to keep doing different views on LifC until I've worked through all my thoughts and feelings about it! I think people keep dismissing it but there is SO MUCH in those few words!
That I did always love,
I bring thee proof:
That till I loved
I did not love enough.
That I shall love alway,
I offer thee
That love is life,
And life hath immortality.
This, dost thou doubt, sweet?
Then have I
Nothing to show
But Cavalry.
