I love how you've built this world and this plot and this character development up so completely in such a small amount of ink. That she meets and greets and grows close to the other Avengers before Clint shows up is a great twist on the canon, and is really intriguing! I really like the idea of getting to see her make connections with these other characters on her own, without the impetus of Clint's heart-washing and the support of their partnership to shape her. I'd absolutely love to see this penned out more fully some day, but this, right here? This is fantastic.
And it makes me wonder what would happen when the truth of her false identity came out, and - and I'll stop there. Lovely! :D

Thanking you! Gad you enjoyed it :D
I don't know, if we're going off film canon Natasha does do a fair bit with the Avengers before Clint shows up as himself, as it were, and was undercover with Tony even before that. But I think in comics she initially used Clint to get to Tony and then Clint met all the Avengers before her (?) But yes, getting to know the others kind of as she comes into own, rather than coming into her own with Clint or before meeting Clint and then being fully Agent Romanoff when the Avengers show up :)
Oh, I think some people would be mad *grins*. But I see this all going wrong for Natasha because she changes during it, from someone else's tool to being herself, and with herself being someone inclined to help others, so I think they'd be forgiveness along the line. Jane for one would stand by her, I believe, because 'at least she helpedme, whatever she was calling herself! Better to lie about a name than one's intentions!' As in all those people smiling to her face whilst telling her not being with Thor

"So as to do them?"
"So as to choose."
