Russia in Crimea smacks entirely too much of Germany in Sudatenland for my comfort.
Not that there's really anything to be done about it, there isn't. And I profoundly hope that I am wrong (which, I must admit, I have often been in the past). But we are now in a situation where if we and our allies (europe and australia) went to war with our enemies (China, Russia, and the middle east), we'd lose. That's not a very comforting scenario.
