If you train a soldier to shoot a five year old without batting an eye, on the grounds the child might be concealing a grenade, you have to expect him to be somewhat callous when he returns to family life. He will think nothing of dashing his infant son against a wall or threatening his wife with a handgun if she fails to do the dishes.

I tried to read this list. I couldn't. I don't know if it's necessary, though. Every point I read was either "Wars are evil, and soldiers willingly participate in wars, so soldiers are evil," or "Bad things happen during wars. Do you want bad things to happen to your husband?"

(The whole "your husband will be tried as a war criminal as soon as the rest of the world stops being so afraid of America" was an interesting overlap of the two.)
