We've returned from Africa, though I'm sick and still recovering from yesterday's marathon flight.

Treating this as a gigantic histamine reaction seems to be fairly effective. I took my first Allegra yesterday afternoon, and by the evening the fever was gone and hasn't come back, save for a few tenths of a degree just before it was time to take another pill. It seems like the doc was right about the pneumonia shot being effective for sinus infections, in that it provoked a serious immune reaction in my body, likely due to all the strep bugs previously living harmoniously dormant in my sinuses waiting for an opportunity to attack ( Read more... )
