While there have been a ton of things going on I just can’t seem to get a LJ post together. Facebook is so easy and thoughtless that I find myself writing over there about four times a day. Bleck

Good thing Kim's surgery went well. Some advice:

1. Always have a heavy-duty plastic bag when travelling in case she over-eats or eats the wrong food. It comes back up...

2. Find a good supply of protein powder. It helps, lots. Her body is going through some changes. Protein is important.

I'm glad to hear that things are better on the health front.

Also, congrats on getting to the end of your term. I hope to be a landed baron some day, but I'm well aware it's the hardest job in the SCA and I appreciate all those who've done it.

Anyway, I'm just writing to ask if you're going to Gulf, and if so, if you're planning a night at the Calontir singing circle, and if so, do you know when? :)

I'm betting not all of those 'if so's are so, but I'm asking because there's a fairly new performer here in Calontir who will be at Gulf with a new piece that I think you'd like and I think she'd benefit from your critical eye.

Sadly GW isn't in the cards for this year. (we had been planning on making it but I had to take a paycut at work....)

I'll be at Pennsic 2010 and I hope to make Gulf Wars in 2011. Take care!
