Dude, that's rough. I've occasionally wondered what my numbers might be, but don't want to spend the days Zyrtec-free to get tested...

my numbers are WAY down from last time though. Which is good and bad. It means that my shots are working but also that I might have to try this whole diet thing out...

Oh and the shtos have totally changed my life Gen. I highly recommend seeing a good allergist. I don't miss work for allergies anymore...think about that...not more than one or maybe two days in over a year and a half...I don't get chronic bronchistis anymore...haven't had it since I went to Gulf Wars in 2007 and that was from the silicia from camping next to the damn road.

Sorry about the diet thing. I know from experience how much that sucks.

Wow you actually got an allergy doctor to test you for food stuff? Usually they tell me that they can't test for any of that stuff because people tend to react to the preservatives in the test.

On the other hand it sounds like you're allergic to most of the fun stuff :(

sounds like you have a doctor will very different ideas about testing. The thing to keep in mind is that there are always false positives. For instance, it might not be that i'm really that allergic to Beef, but to the feed that the cattle are feed. Fixing the inhalors will help with the food allergies (actually it already has.) Wish I had my old numbers to compare. I might ask for them next time I go in.

Aw, man...
I'll save something malty for you
when you decide to introduce it back
into your diet.

I wonder what it is about malt and barely that does it for ya. Does wheat beer give you less of a reaction than say, an ale?

I generally find that wheat makes things worse...however think about this...I tested a zero to onion and tomato...if I eat raw onion I will be in horrible pain and spend all day in the bathroom. If I eat too much tomato, say in a red sauce, horrible GERD....both of these are supposively allergic reactions....but I tested positive for neither of them...

Weird stuff.
