I have a hard time deciding whether or not I should be happy that my sister doesn't try to convert me, sexuality-wise or just to religion in general. I know she's against gay marriage, but I don't know if she's against it from what the bible says or just the use of the word "marriage." We've never had these discussions and I don't know if I should be glad or not. I think she realized long ago I'm a lost cause when it comes to religion. And for all I know, she could think that bisexuality thing was just a phase. *shrug*

...of Iowa, it'll be interesting to see how this plays out. There's already talk from the opposing side that ranges from wanting to have the people vote on it (a la Prop 8) to impeaching the Iowa Supreme Court justices - for what I'm not sure.

I'm really surprised by this ruling; just found out about it after being stuck at work for hours. Both sides seem to agree, though: this doesn't quite seem like the end of this debate, but instead an entirely new sort of start.
