It's obviously mortal if you killed it! Not all creatures are from the same world or era that you're from, so they're going to be different.

I have killed and absorbed far more terrifying creatures than this. It did not even provide adequate sustenance in eating.

I found more entertainment killing humans than this insignificant beast.

[It's not a human or a demon, and the death of it isn't so much of a surprise as it's existence in the first place. Was it even sentient?]

It was attempting to get inside my home. There is no further explanation necessary.

It was not annoying. It merely caused me to produce one more tendril to kill it with than what is typically necessary, and I could not absorb it.
