[ The first time anyone has seen Naraku since before the water event. The video is in the area near the Devil's Nest, and Naraku is standing over a slain bear-like creature, who appeared to have been asphyxiated and impaled in several places by a large, sharp objects; there are holes bored clear through the creature and out the other side. ]This ( Read more... )

A wild, rabid creature wandered too close to my home. Don't act so surprised, human.

Surely you could have fended it off in a less violent way?

I feel no sympathy for a creature that cannot sense the presence of a demon.

[Oh, that poor creature.]

It's obviously mortal if you killed it! Not all creatures are from the same world or era that you're from, so they're going to be different.

Then I am hoping that the next creature to wander into my domain will prove to be a greater challenge.

I hope you're not trying to lure different creatures to you just for that...

I have killed and absorbed far more terrifying creatures than this. It did not even provide adequate sustenance in eating.

I found more entertainment killing humans than this insignificant beast.

Up to the usual, I see. Likely it's not a mortal animal, either. There are more than just demons and humans here.

[That little display of cruelty is only a drop in the sea of Naraku's inhuman doings. Sango doesn't even blink at the sight of it.]

Then may it provide more entertainment in its next life, should it wander into my home again.

Did it really wander, or is that another lie? Your compulsion for torturing innocent creatures is undeniable.

It is not the first living creature to venture into that which I have claimed for myself. And it is not the first to suffer this fate.

What is that...?

[It's not a human or a demon, and the death of it isn't so much of a surprise as it's existence in the first place. Was it even sentient?]

Do you pity this creature?

[ voice ] notnamedtimmy August 14 2011, 03:57:27 UTC
In a way. Its death was very brutal from what I can tell.

[ Disapproving tone is disapproving, but that's par for the course.]

Why did you kill it?

It was attempting to get inside my home. There is no further explanation necessary.

Because annoying things are harder to kill or beat up, 'cause they don't stay down... probably.

It was not annoying. It merely caused me to produce one more tendril to kill it with than what is typically necessary, and I could not absorb it.

...Absorb? Like a sponge or something?
