hahaha as frighteningly tempting as that sounds, it would be much more entertaining to see Ryo go from shocked to horrified to pissed.

There is a rather small amount of K8 genfic. When I first got interested in Kanjani fic I wasn't ready for the porn yet, so I looked for gen. I... didn't find a lot. So here I am, producing relief! :D

Oh, Ryo would be so angry. And then do the same with someone from NEWS.

As for fic recs, I don't read Kanjani fic any more. You could go through my memories, I guess?
The writing journals I still remember now are back_slow_desu/diefleder_tey@ao3 and kyakuhonka who is also on ao3 but I've forgotten under which name. ao3 is pretty awesome in general; here you can search it by fandom, rating, pairing, hits or kudos (which are like likes) and other categories.
I really don't know anything about recent fics or authors, sorry!
