A couple of things to mention today but not a lot of time to do so. Lunch break ends shortly, and I have a half-hour to finish my own work before training one of the new people. I totally agree there’s a difference between “sucky first draft” and “first draft not headed in the right direction”. Writers if they are paying attention can feel the difference too. I have started books out in the wrong place, and the entire first chapter felt wrong. Off. Not just crappy, but like a rock in my shoe. Once I figured out how to start the book properly, things feel into place. I am glad you figure this out so early!

Yes 250K, they will absolutely love it. ;)
