Rude People in Gas Stations

Feb 22, 2009 18:12

So today I'm driving back up to school and the last 30 minutes of the Interstate where unbearable because I had to pee SO bad. I took my exit and stopped at the gas station i've stopped at a million times. Although I have been to this gas station so many times i had never used the bathroom ( I'm not really someone who needs to pee all the time. ) I walk to the back of the gas station and there is the bathroom but there is a line.
I'm closest to the door and third in line. The first person goes into a stall and I didn't move up because the second person didn't move up and I didn't really care to ask the lady to move up.
This obnoxious older lady comes in and the person in front of me gets in the stall. I don't even have a second to wrap my mind around the fact that she got into the stall before the woman says, "Um, could you move up so I don't have to stand in the doorway? Thanks!" all bitchy like. I move do my business and wash my hands.
I must admit I washed them very slow and dried them even slower because I wanted to see the lady again. She goes to the sink as i'm walking out and isn't even in my way but I say "EXCUSE ME!" and left. It was all I could think to say to her. It felt good.
Why do people think its necessary to be rude to other people? I simply retaliated to what she had said. I wish I could've said more but I was shocked that someone would speak to me like that for no reason.

I hate leaving home. I mean I love Troy, a lot. But I love home more.
I also hate this dorm sometimes because of the people I live with. Or better yet the ghost on the other side of the wall that I refuse to speak to.

2 Days till IMPACT interview.
