Gotta say, it was a great trip.  Yes it was wicked hot, especially for this fishbelly-white boy, but it was great to be away and with some great friends that took me out to Sedona on my day off.

Here's some shots from the sight seeing

Yeah they are for sale, but I just posted the mini versions of them since I am having massive issues with idiots ( Read more... )

Great shots wish you would have called while you were here. I think I saw Andrea (bens princess? modeling name) at Sisters of Mercy but since I've never been introduced I didnt say anything.

Hope you didnt get to burned while here though.

Only had limited time down there and then I had to be at the track (Bondurant) shooting the races. One of these days I will come down there just for the purpose of shooting what I want and when I want, heh.

Careful, I very well may take you up on that. "The Wave" is something that is EXTREMELY interesting to me and your expressed interest in camping recently has my ears burning.

Oh look-it me, I am so scared. :P

That place is so amazing, but the number of permits is insanely low if the website I found is still accurate (20 per region - no more than 6 per group - lottery permits - advance request for half the slots). It would be worth the effort, but it definitely requires advance planning.

AZ/Utah/Colorado have some stunning scenery. If you come out for more than a day trip I am certain Ben would happily research the heck out of possibilities and come up with a trip plan to satisfy any photo-geek. :)

Yeah I know all about the permits, I would definately have to set up something WAY in advance. Rumor has it though that half the permits are pre ordered and another half are first come first serve at the location. For something like that getting up at 3am to drive there or camp 20 feet from the ranger station would be worth it.
