it came today. My new 1D Mark 2 camera and I got a 24-70 L 2.8 lens with it. To those of you that don't care *shrug* I am excited to get back out on the track and use this thing. 8.5 frames per second with a 40 frame buffer. Now I just need to save up for my 300 IS L 2.8 lens and my back will officially be destroyed from carrying this monster ( Read more... )

April. Looks like I am already signed on to start doing some AMA stuff here and there too. Spreading out more too, Utah and Oregon at least if not more California stuff.

Bad news is, I can't seem to get hired or sponsored to do this full time, I may be missing out on track days this year which really sucks. Worst of it is, once I get the new lens there is nothing else that I really would need. So anyone wanting an experienced motorsports photog could just tap me and tell me where to go and that's it.

Don't think so. Kiele wants it and during the race season it broke (sent it in, got it fixed) but that left me dead in the water for 2 weeks and I missed shoots so I am going to keep it since the lenses I have will still work with it.
