Hey - not sure if I'm doing this right, but I'm having trouble posting something to this community. I keep getting an error that says "Client error: Maximum queued posts for this community+poster combination reached."?

The problem is that this community has been abandoned by its mods and maintainers. You can post as long as you don't include any links that are off LJ. Anything that has links off LJ will be flagged as spam and go into the 'queue' for mod approval (which will never come). So you just have to take out all the links to AO3, ff.net, or whatever, and then your post will go through.

I was able to get in touch with one of the former mods, but as their LJ account has since been deleted, they can't get back in to access anything on this comm. I have tried several times to contact the maintainer through various sites but to no avail. I don't think there's anything that can be done. LJ won't re-assign control over a comm unless there is a major problem like uncontrolled trolls or spamming.

Thank you for looking into this, swissmarg. Interestingly enough, the post below this one, dated March 26th, has a link to AO3 in it. But when I just tried posting for the first time here, it went to the moderation queue, probably because it also had a link to AO3. When I took that link out, the post got through.

Very strange!

At any rate, it's a shame the comm has been abandoned by the mods. Guess we'll just have to work around the quirks in order to keep using it.
