Sad fic?

I'm in the mood for sad fic. Please recommend the saddest fic you've read. I'd really like something well written. Usually sad fic is only impacting to me if it's really written well.

My favorite tear-jerkers are The Sound of a Heart Breaking, Reaction (explicit rating for rape/non-con, hopeful ending), Alone on the Water (character death), The Sign of Three, Family Affairs (AU, loaded with angst, happy ending), and I Think I've Come a Long Long Way to Sit before You Here Today (character deaths).
