[Your visions are from soup...]Oh thank goodness. It wasn’t perfect, it felt a little...bumpy in a way that I can’t quite explain. I suppose it was moments like Porthos’ scene with Treville which seemed a bit random among the rest of the story and Anne and Aramis kissing after she had completely ignored him the past three episodes. I mean I LOVED the kiss, especially with Constance catching them, but where did that come from?! Perhaps Anne was just holding back whilst they were in the palace because she was so afraid of getting caught so she decides to snog him in a tent where they got caught instead. Or maybe the whole business with her husband having a mistress made her decide not to give as much of a damn anymore. And rightly so

[Yeah I'm not sure I like the Aramis/Marguerite story-line either...] and I'm rather looking forward to it all going wrong because it is indeed making Aramis look like a man-whore. Although he was at least honest with her in this episode. Having said that, I also rather like the fact Aramis has flaws and makes some ridiculously dumb decisions at times. That contradiction of him being a man of faith with a good, loyal heart whilst also being a lying little toerag makes him an interesting character.
I completely agree that he does need to talk to one of the others though. I don't know what has happened between him and Porthos but they don't even seem to be talking to each other in this series! Whenever Aramis goes off on his own and does his own thing it never seems to ends well. He needs to stop hiding his feelings and talk to someone about it.
This is my favourite pic going around tumblr. It sort of sums it all up really.
[Spoiler (click to open)]Those last 10 minutes with lots of Athos looking hot and frequently having his shirt wide open certainly made up for a bit of a lack of Athos action in the earlier part of the episode!
And the next ep looks so very good! Damn them for making us wait two weeks!
