Hey, I saw this post on tumblr, and I'd love to volunteer as a beta, if you don't mind a newbie. I have a degree in English and have read, critiqued, and written many, many a story/essay in my day :) I could handle up to 2 stories. I usually critique beyond spelling and grammar (plot, flow, etc., as mentioned above), but I'm also happy to stick to just the technical stuff if the writer prefers.

Hello, I am also in need of a beta for typos and grammar check first, though anyone also able to comment on characterization, story flow and plot would be very welcome. The story is about 8-10k (finished in two days probably but half is already written). Anyone with time on their hand interested in having a look?
