Hi, I've got time to beta a couple of stories, I've done quite a bit of beta'ing for a handful of friends. I am non-USian, so if you need someone to Yankpick I'm not your beta, but I am happy to answer any questions about character/plot/flow that you have and con-crit. Message me on LJ if you're interested.

I'm not known, here, but I'm available to do a little beta reading. Maybe I can start out with one or two one-shots, and see whether I have time for more.

I can do basic proof reading or go more in-depth, regarding character development, voice of the characters, voice of the author, pacing, arc of the scene or the story, etc. I will need to know from the author, what they want, so that I don't give unwanted feedback.

Writers can post a reply to my comment here and send me a PM, to improve the chances that LJ notification will occur for at least one of those. If you let me know your email address in your PM, I'll hit you back, from my email.

What I may not know enough about, is how to format the text appropriately, for your online publication. I take it that a Word doc format may not be entirely compatible, correct?

I can beta a couple stories. I can usually get through a story within a couple of hours and am always up for beta'ing stuff multiple times if that's what the author needs.

Willing and able to go above and beyond spelling/grammar and can help with keeping characterization in check, reworking things from narration to dialog to whole scenes if you need help with it, and everything in between. I'm fine with either just having a fic e-mailed to me or working on it in gdocs/etc. I can help with coding a fic for online posting as well.

PM me on lj if you need me.
