I would like to beta read a story for this edition. I have been beta reading within a small writing and critiquing group for about eight months. In addition to basic copy editing, I like to think I am good at spotting plot holes and inconsistent characterization. I believe my main flaw is my distaste for angst - I have a tendency to want to cheer up dark or sad stories.

I'd be happy to beta for anyone who wants a fresh set of eyes. I'm a quick but thorough reader with a bad case of grammar-ocd, a good nose for plot holes and ambiguous paragraphs, and I've been proofing friends' writing and my textbooks (they needed it, I swear) for a few years. My only real squicks are mpreg and heavy angst with no happy ending.
