Ha! I just found this and I'm the "enthusiastic civilian". Well, so much for what I know. I do hope you'll feel comfortable engaging on Goodreads, it's mostly friendly. The S2B2 Group is particularly wonderful with surprisingly varied comments and discussion. So far, I haven't seen anyone bite. Dammit!
