So, for one of the bigbangs I'm signed up for I'm planning on writing a Sherlock/Harry Potter crossover. But I'm having issues making the timelines mesh the way I want them to. I have no problems moving Harry Potter up enough years so that the events of the books take place at the same time as Sherlock canon. The problem is with Lestrade's personal

It would probably be fine to make the Marauder's a few years older or Lestrade a few years younger. As far as I know Lestrade's age isn't confirmed in the Sherlock fandom.

So as long as you treat his age matter-of-factly I don't think it should be a problem.
