Unfortunately, I can't help you with the first reading, but I wanted to tell you that you've just got me signing up for two more bangs. I'd finally managed to drop it to two, but crossbigbang and au_bigbang were too much to resist.

My fandoms: spn, buffyverse, eureka, doctor who-torchwood, anything from Whedon.

I watched the Watchmen :-) Because of JDM, if it's enough for you...

Having watched Watchmen is enough for me, since the fic takes place five years later I mostly just want to make sure that nothing sticks out as obviously wrong.

The only thing I can think of that I based purely on the comic is the villain plot at the end. In the comic Adrain created a group of fake alien's with psychic abilities and released them on the world using Jon's powers.

If by merciless you mean that your likely to rip the story, characterization, dialog, etc. apart that would be lovely. I specifically requested my beta because she's brutally honest.

The only thing I really have a problem with when it comes to merciless betas/alphas is if they tend to curse a lot. Being cussed out tends to make me tetchy. Beyond that I can't think of any issue I'd be likely to have.
