With all the nods to canon in your story I am thinking that Sister Alma did see something she wasn't supposed to see. Or maybe she will during their next little rendezvous.

There's so many ways this could go, haha!
Can't wait to see what happens next, I just love this story. =)

Hope to nods to canon are not 'too' much. I kinda liked tying in Alma though. I'll wait until after the chapter to chat about her role, or lack thereof. :-)

what a reunion, full of love and happy acceptance. your love scenes between jack and ennis are always so tender and full of caring. they are gently done, not overly graphic. just right.

how will this ever resolve? you've written a situation that seems as hopeless as that in the original brokeback story. this may be an a/u that you're writing, but i don't see how you can come up with a happy ending in this situation. it feels like an impossiblity to me. you will knock my socks off when you do. oh wait, you will have a happy ending here, right? i mean the boys will end up together, right? right?

I am glad the sex scenes are not coming across as overly graphic. Although I must say the images in my head as I write are extremely so ;-) This wouldn't be my strong area by any means. I'd make a far better screenplay writer than story writer because I prefer dialog to scenery descriptions :-)

You'd be surprised how nicely things will resolve - but hold tight for the bumpy ride ahead is all I can say for now.

This is an excellent story, and you write very well. It shows the huge contradiction that is caused by the celibacy required of Catholic clergy.* They must deny themselves any intimacy with others, something that humans, by nature, need ( ... )

What an intense reunion. It's sad to see Ennis deny himself and Jack a chance of being together and happy. Glad that Ennis realizes that he can't be a priest and continue his affair with Jack. Hope that they don't have many years of secret meetings ahead of them.
