now I am so super sad that I am not writing luchadores but instead a "super"hero (think Hawkeye type superhero, as in "normal dude who's really good at one thing") and a freelance writer/photographer/general dude in distress :(

I could definitely work with that. Because Hawkeye-type or B-lister superheroes are favorite of mine.
