Absolutely we're still accepting artists! And if all the contributing authors have already either tapped other artists or chosen not to work with illustrators, you should feel free to a standalone piece!

Rad! Could I go ahead and sign up to do a standalone as well, then? If I do get tapped (FINGERS CROSSED!) I'd be happy to try to complete both an illustration and a standalone, though I'd prioritize illustrating for a story if time is not on my side.

Signups are totally optional -- whatever you show up with is what's good! Any illustrator is also welcome to do a standalone image, but I keep the 'Prospective standalone (only) artists' category for artists who want to contribute an image but aren't offering illustration services. So whatever you can do, we'll take it!
