There was a great scene of Julie Boeheim consoling her young son after he realized the Orange weren't going to win tonight. I watched it 3-4 times. Touching.
As my cat Jerry Lee would say, hey, lay off the orange.
They won two NIT games, 22 prior to that, and there's no shame losing on the road to an ACC club by four points. They should have made the big dance over someone like Arkansas or Purdue, methinks. A 10-6 mark in the Big East used to get you somewhere.
Of course Jim Boeheim needs to schedule some legit out-of-conference road games, but that's beside the point. They were jobbed.
I'd buy a WNBA ticket before buying that Syracuse was jobbed. As you infer, they jobbed themselves, if anything.
I'd also take Purdue over the Orange on a neutral floor all the way to the bank. Purdue won an NCAA game and gave the defending champs all they wanted for a trip to the Sweet 16. Sorry I can't post a link properly, but you might look at the following url.
