The main reason I'm embarrassed to have been a Libertarian is that, more and more, the term seems to be exclusively defined by rabid adherence to that exact economic doctrine, to the point where mainstream conservatives -- even the theocrats -- are using the term for political cover.
By the way. I'm happy to hold conversations with strangers, but it looks like you might have been around for a few days and have yet to introduce yourself. Care to offer a name and/or handle so I know when I'm talking to you, as opposed to some other anonymous reader? :)

At the moment, anyway. I believe that the wording of the law specifies five members from each of the two largest parties (by registration) and four that belong to neither. If/when the largest registration block for "decline to state" passes Democratic and/or Republican, we'll get five of them.
