No! You're wrong! New Orleans showed how perfectly the free market and private business can cope with every situation that might ever happen, for ever and ever! The free market must come before everything else! FEMA needs to be privatized! Those Chinese, they're COMMIES, that's why their government has to step in to rescue the quake victims, because they don't believe in letting the market take care of everything, etc. etc.

(I need to go disinfect my fingers now, for typing all that garbage...)

*sigh* I don't even like China, but they're pretty much reacting the way a government should, at least according to this and the little I've heard elsewhere. It's depressing that this isn't the norm. Burma... That's even more depressing. Man...
