APE

So, meetings about the Longbox Project required that I go to APE in San Francisco this last Saturday.  5 meetings with 5 publishers, crammed into as many hours.  Despite the hectic schedule, and the fact that my back was fucking KILLING me, (at one point, I was prone at the Image table while I sent my BOSS to runn and get me water for pain meds.  ( Read more... )

Hearing you talk about APE just gets me thinking more about how I need to move out to one of the coasts. Apparently, in order for a kick as event (SDCC, NYCC, APE, every illustration convention I can think of) to happen, it has to be near a large body of water. The only body of water I'm near is the Mississippi, and that's just not big enough to bring all the kids out to play anymore.

Glad you enjoyed APE, and it's good to see you updating here. Can't wait to hear about all you have in the works, as I don't think you could ever be happy if you weren't being pulled in ten directions at once.
