D'aaawe at Dean realizing he doesn't think of the hot air balloon ride anymore. At the end it didn't matter that the balloon was his ticket out of creepville, his way to leave to try and find Sam, or that it was operated by a very friendly busty asian babe, leaving Castiel was never an option. Daily life with Cas makes him forget \o/

And Castiel's faith in Dean is so freaking sweet.

Thanks for the chapter.

It's interesting, because the way they feel about each other is complicated and yet not complicated at all, at the core. They're so crazy about each other they don't know whether they're comin' or goin'.

Thanks for the comment :)

In 2000 words you have somehow captured everything about Dean and Castiel and Dean/Castiel. Oh, the tension: how Dean pushes, and Castiel bends and bends, until he breaks and snaps at him. How Dean - without even noticing - comes to rely more and more on Castiel, because it feels good, it feels right.

Lovely! <3

Exactly! Because Dean doesn't believe in good things for himself he's always pushing and pushing to see where the line is, what will push someone away and prove Dean right in his suspicion that he never should have trusted or believed in that person anyway. Of course, Castiel will never walk away no matter what Dean does because Cas is, of course, crazy about him and believes in him and whatnot.

So, you know, hugs for Dean and Cas. :)

This is so strange and so curious and so odd... but it's also so compelling with the unfolding of the story and the characters. I can't see where it's heading - which is nice - and I'm enjoying the trip. So don't stop. I'm too far away to flick you on the ear if you do.

Thank you! I love stories where I can't predict the end by the end of the beginning (or even worse, the beginning of the beginning). And I am definitely enjoying the trip too much to abandon it; if I do, I promise I will flick myself on the ear for it.

LOL. The good thing about this story is that even if you miss a part, the rest still makes sense (well, as much sense as this story ever makes ;) ). Glad you eventually found it, though!

Thanks :)

I'm intriged. I still have no idea what's going on but the more I read the more I think 'Trickster'... Don't suppose you'd give me a hint?

Thank you, I'm glad you're curious :) But no hints! That would spoil the game ;)
