"Of course. I was already thinking of what DVDs to bring with me," Reid replied. "Though really, it's not that far, and I'm only going to be teaching one day a week. If I decide I want something I don't bring with me, I can always come and get it," he pointed out.

"You can," he agreed, "but it's a hassle. Might as well toss it in now."

He leaned back in his chair, arms behind his head.

"Besides, you start with that and you'll accumulate more than you wanted. Do it quick and clean and it's a whole hell of a lot less trouble."

His eyes had slipped closed, but one of them opened now to give Reid a look of mild amusement.

Morgan laughed a little, though he kept it to a minimum, before leaning on his desk to give Reid a smile.

"You need a ride or anything, man, gimme a call. For now, though, I got some things to take care of tonight."

He pushed himself up from his desk and put the last few pens and papers away in their folders, drawers, and holders.

"You gonna be all right?"

"Don't worry," Reid said, though he suspected it would be in vain. "I'll be fine. You take care," he added, because if his friends could worry about him, he could worry about them, too.

He only just managed not to grin his face in half.
